REGISTERED NURSE

HOSPITAL OVERVIEW:
A cutting-edge, boutique day hospital is situated in Hazelwood (Pretoria) and will be specialising in cosmetic-,   ENT-, skin- and spinal surgery.  
 
PURPOSE: 
The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of clinical work within the theatre area and provide evidence based, quality nursing care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, in collaboration with other professional disciplines.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Clinical care management.
Financial and business process management
Theatre utilization.



REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification:  Degree / diploma in general nursing science, Theatre qualification, Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a registered nurse.
Minimum experience:  Experience in scrubbing and surgical recovery on ENT and plastics for at least 5 years.
