Storeman – Centurion (Glass & Aluminium Industry)
Our client, a large Glass & Aluminium Company based in Centurion, are currently looking for a Storeman to join their team as soon as possible.
Salary: Up to R13 000 depending on experience 
Must be based in Centurion
MUST have experience in the glass and alumium industry, otherwise application will not be considered

Requirements:
Matric
Minimum 4-5 years experience in glass and Aliminium industry 
Strong administration skills and computer literacy 
Bilingual (Afrikaans & English read, write and speak)
Drivers license and own transport essential
Demonstrated knowledge in stores duties, and the ability to plan and prioritise work to achieve required outcomes.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
To execute the receiving and dispatching of stock to and from regions / technicians / customers
Raise delivery notes against the relevant accounts.
Return stock to execute the receiving and dispatching of stock to and from regions / technicians / customers
Return stock to suppliers for repairs
Ensure all stock has serial numbers
Prepare stock requirements timeously
Maintain effective stock control at all times
Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures
Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
Record all incoming and outgoing merchandise information in the database.
Lift, carry, unpack, load and unload supplies by using a forklift or front end loader.
Check quantities of unpacked supplies against delivery notes and purchase orders.
Identify problems or possible improvements in store’s activities, services and procedures.
Perform tasks to assist in maintaining the office in an organised, efficient, effective and customer focused manner.
Respond to telephone, two-way, oral and written requests for information.
